Honey Goat Milk Soap

Handmade milk soaps have been used for ages in beauty regimes by many famous ladies of the centuries. Honey and Milk is always a lovely combination for both our palate as well as our skin. Over the years fresh milk and honey is used in making luxurious and soothing bath soaps for everyone in the family. In the soap making process, goat milk and honey is combined to produce our gorgeous bars of soap.

Besides the main ingredients of honey and goat milk, our soap recipe includes nourishing oils such as coconut, olive and rapeseed to add on to the moisturising factor in each of our soap bars. To enhance its therapeutic properties, essential oils such as Cypress and Lavender is used in making this soap suitable for people with dry skin, eczema or dermatitis.

Honey is a famous ingredient used in health and skincare products as it promotes new tissue growth, when mixed with water it acts as a mild antiseptic due to the enzymes reaction found in it. Honey in soaps makes a great exfoliator as it contains AHA.  Regular usage loosens bonds between dead skin cells making the process of skin renewal easier hence healthier brighter looking skin!

There are many benefits of honey and the list is just endless, honey helps skin retain moisture and works as an excellent humectant too. Try applying a honey mask every week and you will see some nice improvements in skin texture and tone. Using our Honey Goat Milk’s handmade soap daily in the shower will help moisturise and keep your skin supple without stripping off the natural oil that our body produce to maintain a healthy pH balance. Another great factor in using honey in soaps is its ability as a free radical scavenger, which helps reverse damage done to your skin from free radicals found in the environment.

Goat milk is a rich source of vitamins A, B6, B12 and E and has three times more beta-casein than cow’s milk. Therefore it absorbs easily  for a quick hydration of dry skin. Goat’s milk is also a natural emollient that is used to soothe and moisturise sensitised skin especially for those with eczema and very dry skin condition. Besides its soothing factor, the usage of goat’s milk in soaps encompasses the lovely properties of triglycerides acid that balances skin’s natural pH and promotes natural exfoliation for dry skin. Skin that is sensitised cannot be aggravated with physical exfoliation, as it will make the condition worst.

Goat's Milk and Honey Soap is excellent for sensitive skin because it is enriched with proteins, mineral salts vitamins and liposomes. It is gentle for face, body and hair. Our 120g of goodness is crafted in a way so that it is able to soften, nourish, rejuvenate and moisturise your skin as well as your family’s.
